  • a group of companies in rehabilitation proceedings as a plan preparer and a plan administrator to deal and negotiate with their creditors.
  • aircraft leasing companies in civil claims, rehabilitation and bankruptcy proceedings against a charter airline in Thailand.

Arbitration

  • an engineering company (consortium member) as a subcontractor, in defending a claim asserted by the main contractor under an Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) contract in relation to construction work for a municipal waste management plant with an 800 tons per day capacity.
  • one of the leading out-of-home media service providers in an arbitration conducted under the Arbitration Rules of the Thai Arbitration Institute.
  • a RDF Power Plant owner in arbitration cases raised by the contractor in relation to the EPC agreement and O&M agreement.

Labor and Employment

  • a Thai insurance company in respect to coverage under Employment Practices Liability Insurance. This case involved an alleged unfair termination of an employment contract brought to the court by the insured’s employee.
  • several companies including an American affiliate technology company, banking corporations, and manufacturing companies in relation to labour disputes and advising on various aspects of labour matters arising relation to the reorganization.

Administrative / Government Contract Disputes

  • one of the largest retail property development and investment companies/department store owner in the administrative court against a state enterprise in a dispute concerning the public road around an entrance area.
  • Thailand’s leading telecommunication conglomerate on legal strategies, constitutional law and administrative law relating to broadcasting license transfer, a satellite orbital slots auction, and a merger of telecommunication businesses.

General Civil Disputes

  • one of the biggest hypermarkets in Thailand in a claim against an insurance company in breach of an insurance agreement in connection with a fire incident which occurred during the Thai Political Unrest in 2010.
  • a private entity in relation to an insurance claim and criminal lawsuits in connection with a fire incident at the Fico Building in 2012.
  • many real estate developers in relation to consumer protection lawsuits against their customers (in both the courts and the Office of the Consumer Protection Board).
