KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Soidara is an Associate at Chandler MHM Ltd. (CMHM) since 2018. She specializes in litigation proceedings and has  experience representing both Thai and International clients on civil, criminal, civil claim in connection with an offence, labour, family, administrative, Intelligent Property,  Maritime and Customs laws.

Prior joining CMHM, she had experience in working at the law office with relevant disputes and execution proceedings. she has significant experience handling number of court proceedings which dealt with important public interest issues.

RELEVANT CLIENT EXPERIENCE

Some Representative Transactions (Litigation Proceedings):

• A Thai insurance company in respect to the coverage of Professional Liability Insurance in the event of failure to renew a motor Insurance by an insurance broker (the insured under the Professional Liability Insurance).
• A wholly owned subsidiary of a Japanese-based Iron and Steel Mills and Ferroalloy Manufacturer in relation to cases of workplace fraud. The proceedings could lead to a major enforcement of anti-money laundering law.
• A supplier based in Luxembourg in relation to a case of cross border sales scam causing the client to suffer a loss of approximately USD 1.6 million. This case involved an order for goods which was in fact a deliberate deception conducted with the aim to defraud our client.
• A holding company investing in a business of electricity generation and distribution, in conducting the legal due diligence investigation on one of the leading property developers in Thailand, for the purpose of the holding company acquiring newly issued shares of the property developer. This was a private placement involving the holding company transferring shares which it held in a renewable energy provider to the property developer. 
• Acted for a renowned international insurance group, in litigation claims against its senior management and its financial staff in relation to systematic fraud in the criminal and civil courts.
• Represented and assisted various clients in civil, criminal, and penal cases, providing legal advice, preparing and submitting court documents, acting in court, assisting with the filing of civil cases to the Appeal Court, assisting clients in acting on judgments, handling a Marine and Customs case, facilitating a public auction of shares, and filing a case to the Administrative Court involving a land deed.
