This chapter discusses options available when establishing a business in Thailand, including establishment of a private limited company, and restrictions on foreign investments in Thailand. As at the date of this publication, a draft legislation to amend the Thai Civil and Commercial Code has been approved by the parliament. Such legislation will become effective after the lapse of 90 days from the publication date in the Government Gazette. Therefore, certain information contained in this publication may not be up to date once the Amendment to the Thai Civil and Commercial Code, B.E. 2565 comes into force.
