Major development in the legal framework for solar and wind projects in Vietnam. As in many other countries, development of renewable energy is a focus of further investment in Vietnam, and in particular, potential solar and wind power projects are attracting strong interest from investors. However, the applicable regulations in this sector are complex. Below we describe notable recent updates and summarize the general regulatory regime to support the development of solar and wind power projects in Vietnam.
