One of the eye-catching headlines relating to the Thai energy industry over the past few weeks was the announcement of the completion and commencement of commercial operations of the hydro-floating solar project at Sirindhorn Dam in Ubonratchathani province. The project is the world’s largest hybrid floating solar, equipped with a combination of two methods of electricity generation, and is owned and operated by Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand.
