A new law in practice limits the maximum length of credit terms which can be requested from SME sellers/service providers at 30 or 45 days, depending on the types of products/services. The new law was issued in the form of a Notification on 18 June 2021 by the Office of Trade Competition Commission (the “OTCC”). This Notification will be effective 180 days from 19 June 2021, the day after its publication in the Gazette.
