Chandler MHM

“Essential Skills for Legal Practice” course for law students at the Faculty of Law, Chulalongkorn University

The Faculty of Law, Chulalongkorn University, in collaboration with 11 organizations, including law firms and government agencies, introduced a dynamic course aimed at equipping law students with indispensable skills for their future careers. Running from early January to April 2024, the program culminated in the issuance of participation certificates to all successful attendees on 24 May 2024.

As part of the program, Chandler MHM offered training to two groups of students comprising students from both the LLB general program and the LLB graduate program. Recognizing that understanding legal theory alone is insufficient to practice law this course was developed to provide students with guidance on the skills required for legal practice. Approximately 20 lawyers from different practices of Chandler MHM conducted 10 comprehensive sessions. These sessions provided students with an insight into essential non-legal competencies alongside legal skills across a diverse range of practice areas.

The overwhelmingly positive response from participants underscores the value of such training. As a part of the legal community, we are commitment to sharing market leading knowledge and expertise to forthcoming generations of legal practitioners.
