Chandler MHM Limited, in collaboration with its clients, the Chandler family, and those fortunate to have crossed paths with Mr. Albert Tomlinson Chandler (known as Al Chandler) during his influential tenure within the Thai legal community established the Albert T. Chandler Memorial Scholarship Fund.

This fund serves as a heartfelt homage to the enduring legacy of Al Chandler and the remarkable contribution that Al Chandler, the founder of Chandler MHM Limited (formerly known as Chandler and Thong-ek Law Offices Limited) made to Thailand’s legal community.

The scholarship fund was established with the noble intention of awarding one scholarship annually to a deserving law student from Chulalongkorn University's Faculty of Law.  This scholarship will cover the tuition fee for an entire academic year. Al Chandler's passion for legal education and his role as a part-time lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Chulalongkorn University underscored his commitment to fostering equal access to the legal profession. By contributing to this scholarship fund, we pay homage to Al's enduring dedication while paving the way for aspiring legal professionals to pursue their dreams unhindered.

The inaugural scholarship, generously sponsored by the Thailand Regional Forum at Sasin under the leadership of Mr. Christopher Bruton, has been awarded to Ms. Wachiraporn Aekkeboot, a final-year student with great potential. This scholarship not only covers her tuition but also extends to her an exclusive opportunity. Ms. Wachiraporn Aekkeboot has been granted an Affiliate Membership of the esteemed Thailand Regional Forum at Sasin. This will facilitate valuable interactions with a diverse spectrum of economic and political experts from Thailand and the Southeast Asia region. This unique opportunity will support her academic journey and future success in the legal profession.
