Chandler MHM

Chandler MHM supports Thammasat University Hospital and the “Survival Box” project initiated by Alumni of Chulalongkorn University

Chandler MHM and its staff made a donation of THB60,000 and meal boxes to support Thammasat University Hospital and Thammasat Field Hospital. The hospitals are taking care of an increasing number of COVID-19 patients in need of medical attention and as a result they are in need of funds to purchase additional medical equipment and supplies, personal protective equipment, and to cover other daily expenses.

Chandler MHM and its staff also made a donation of THB60,000 to the “Survival Box” project initiated by Alumni of Chulalongkorn University. Survival boxes will be given to patients who are diagnosed with COVID-19 while waiting for hospital beds. Each survival box contains essential items for each patient to take care of themselves while waiting for a bed, which should last for about 14 days, or until the patient is mildly symptomatic or has been able to find a bed. These items include 50 Paracetamol pills (500 mg), 90 andrographis paniculata capsules; 1 thermometer; 1 fingertip pulse oximeter; 15 masks; 1 tube of alcohol gel (100 ml), and 2 packs of AAA batteries.

This is part of a broad programme of assistance for various organisations in Thailand which are providing support during the Covid-19 pandemic. In June Chandler MHM donated THB 100,000 to Maharat Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital to support it in providing vaccinations to the local community. In May Chandler MHM and its staff also assisted the “Food For Fighters” project in Bangkok which supports communities impacted by the pandemic by donating 2,000 meal boxes and funds.
