On 12 November 2020, Myanmar Legal MHM and Chandler MHM held a joint Webinar on the energy and infrastructure sector in Myanmar. The presenters from Myanmar Legal MHM were Julian Barendse and Sooksun Popun-Ngarm and the presenter from Chandler MHM was David Beckstead.

The presenters provided an overview of the energy and infrastructure market in Myanmar including developments in relation to the PPP regulatory framework, and provided an update on the recent Myanmar elections. This was followed by a discussion of some of the key issues relevant to Thai investors investing in the energy and infrastructure sector in Myanmar.

The Webinar was well attended showing a high level of interest in this topic.
