Chandler MHM advises on financing for Vietnam’s largest single operating solar power plant

Chandler MHM advised on the financing for the development and operation of a 257 megawatt (MW) solar power plant in Vietnam. This solar project which is based in Hoa Hoi, Phu Yen Province, will be Vietnam’s largest single operating solar power plant and one of the largest in Southeast Asia. The power plant will be developed by Phu Yen Joint Stock Company, owned by B.Grimm Power and Truong Thanh Viet Nam Group JSC. B.Grimm Power is one of Thailand’s largest power producers. Lenders providing the US$186 million of financing included Asian Development Bank (ADB), Kasikornbank and Bangkok Bank.
